Job Description/Required Qualifications:
- Skilled carpenter with 5+ years prior work experience in the carpentry/construction industry.
- Demonstrated capability to learn quickly, and self-direct work as needed.
- Desires increasing responsibility with the opportunity to lead 1+ additional employees.
- Comfortable working with and around power tools and hand tools.
- Able to lift 50+ pounds throughout workday, bend, kneel, stand, climb ladders/scaffold, use precise hand motions to complete tasks.
- Able to work through all four seasons outdoors, including high heat temperatures in the Summer and cold temperatures in the Winter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Able to read blueprints/construction designs.
- Able to perform job site layout (i.e footers, wall lines, etc.).
- Proficient in different types of framing (i.e deck framing, roof framing, stair framing).
- Proficient in decking and railing installations.
- Demonstrated capability and experience adhering to project schedules.
